In detail, when alone, F. graminearum was able to grow
well up to the end of the experiment (21 days), while in the
presence of the antagonist the biomass was reduced by
about 90 %. T. gamsii 6085 grew well in this substrate,
independently from the presence/absence of the pathogen.
F. culmorum was negatively affected by the presence of the
antagonist, showing a strong reduction of its biomass,
whereas the antagonist was not affected by the presence of
the pathogen.
