Mobility was one of the main motivators for students’ use of laptops for m-learning, allowing them to study with others or alone depending on their needs at the time. Other categories of motivators identified by the students were productivity, access to information, authoring, and lec- turer related motivators. Understanding what motivates students to utilise mobile technologies is an important consideration for educators wanting to introduce and meaningfully integrate new technologies into learning (Roblyer & Doering, 2010).
