surface ofglass,istheinnovativesolutiontotheproblem.Thermochromicsmartwindowschangetheir
color andopticalpropertiesinresponsetotemperaturevariations.Theperformance,materials,coating
technologies andenergymodelingofthermochromicwindowsarereviewedinthepresentstudy.The
effect ofdopingvanadiumdioxide(VO2) coatingswithdifferentdopantssuchastungsten, fluorine, gold
nanoparticles andetc.iselaborated.Variousdepositiontechniques,specifically hybridchemicalvapor
deposition (AA/APCVD)andphysicalvapordeposition(PVD)methodsareelucidated.Differentdopants
and techniquesshowdifferentresultsonmetaltosemiconductortransition(MST)andthecritical
temperature.The “change invisibleandinfra-redtransmissionandreflectance” is thetouchstoneof
performance forthedifferentaffordedchromogenicintelligentwindows.
