Details of the optical fiber and preparation of the sensor
The POF used in this work consists of a polymethylmethacrylate
(PMMA) core approximately 980-um thick with 20-um thick
cladding made of a fluoride-containing carbon polymer. The refractive
indices of the core and cladding are 1.492 and 1.41 respectively.
