This sport, in which the ball is struck with a bat, is not yel included in the Olympic Games. It is spreading from Country to Country; however, and it now being played in Canada, Japan, and Latin America, as well as in the United States, where its is often referred to as the national sport. Each year the two best teams in the United States compete in a series of games known as the World Series. People of ages watch the games on TV or listen to them on the radio, if it is not possible for them to go to the stadium. Workers in offices, stores, and repair shops listen to the Series games as they work, and their employers and the customers listen too.
