Field Mappings Tab
Field mapping tells the system which fields are critical for outbound dialing, such as telephone number,as well as the fields that contain the customer name, and how the customer name appears (full name or first and last)
1 Click the Field Mappings Tab
2 From the drop down list,select the field name that corresponds to Phone Number 1.Repeat this for up to six phone numbers
3 To set an Answering Machine Detection type for each phone number in a call table, select an Answering Machine Detection type in the AMD Type from the drop down list. if you want the answering Machine Detection to be determined by the Serivice,leave this option blank in the table definition. By default,AMD set at the table level will override AMD at the Service level
Answering Machine - Performs an analysis once the call is answered to determine whether there is an answering machine or a live person on the line. This detection type should be used for phone fields that have home numbers.
Business - Since a typical response from a business differs from a response from home this setting listens for 2.75 seconds of noise then silence. This detection type should be used for phone fields with business numbers only.
Connect - This setting essentially turns answering machine detection off.it should be used when you want to route a call immediately upon the response(far end hook event).The result could be a live person or any device(fax machine,answering machine,or pager).
Positive Voice - Use this setting when you want to reach a human voice(live or recorded)only.if you want to have answering machine as well as live people transferred to agents, select this detection type.
4 Select the field that corresponds to the name,social security,account number, and time zone if applicable.
