2.2.4. N-[4-(2-acryloyloxyethyl)phenyl]-2,6-dimethoxybenzamide 3
Under a N2 atmosphere, 10 (5.0 g, 17 mmol) and Et3N (3.5 mL, 25 mmol) were dissolved in THF (200 mL) and cooled to 0 °C. After acryloyl chloride (2.0 mL, 25 mmol) was added, the reaction mixture was stirred at room temperature for 3 h. After water and chloroform were added, an organic layer was separated by using a separatory funnel. The organic layer was dried over Na2SO4, and after filtration, volatiles were removed under reduced pressure from the filtrate.
