Indonesia-based Polytama Propindo was eyeing to restart its
PP unit in Balongan, West Java, on 4 July. The 380,000
tonne/year PP unit has been shut since 3 April as the company
failed to conclude negotiations to secure propylene feedstock
from its main supplier – state-owned Pertamina.
In addition, the plant is planning to conduct a 10-day
turnaround at its 380,000 tonne/y ear PP unit in the fourth week
