To put the sensing capabilities of the PPF sensors into perspective, the responses of the PPF sensors were compared with those of commercial environmental monitoring instruments, namely a relative humidity and temperature sensor, a CO2 sensor, a photo-ionization detector sensor, and an air-flow sensor.
