1. Research question 1
The first research question aimed to find if there is a significant difference in vocabulary competence between the method of using songs in YouTube and the traditional method of teaching. The results can be seen from the independent sample t-test in Table II.
Table II shows that there was a significant difference between the methods of teaching used for the experimental and control groups, where the p-value was 0.007. This is lower than the set criterion where the hypothesis will be rejected if p≤0.05. Therefore, from Table II, the first null hypothesis is rejected and the first research question is answered, concluding that there is a significant difference in vocabulary competence between the method of using songs in YouTube and the traditional method of teaching.
