I graduated from Thai university, along with all of my brothers, sisters, nephews, nieces and all of my relatives. This article is exaggerated to the extreme. Throughout my freshmen year, non of my senior fellow students touched me, scolded me or in anyway hurt my feelings. I have been supported through and through all my years in schools and universities in Thailand, United Kingdom, United States, and Japan where I received my educations.
I'm not sure whether this article is a fabrication or odd incident that really happened but let me assure you that these are not common, and wide spread practices in universities, colleges and schools in Thailand, or anywhere else in the institutions that I attended.
The article misleads the readers to believe that these are common practices in educational institutes in Thailand and I wish the forum investigate on the journalistic ethics of the writer (s).
Reading several articles on this forum concerning Thailand, a country as a whole, and many articles on several other countries, led me to think that this is a smear campaign against several countries; with Thailand specifically in focus.
I have never come across any articles on any good side on Thailand in this forum, and this makes me believe this country is evil or hell on earth -- contrary to what I am experiencing having residing in reality in Thailand.
I believe the journalist school that the writer been trained and educated would be shame to find the result of the work of their graduates.
If you have any doubt on my intention, care to contact me. I will be please to explain to you the situation in Thailand in person, or teach you how good journalism would be like.
