There are various sizes of antenna, depending
on the customer application and the type of beam
being used on the satellite. Antennas range in size from
large telecommunications carrier dishes of 4.5 to 15
meters in diameter, to VSATs of less than one meter in
diameter, which are designed to support services such
as Direct to Home TV (DTH) and rural telephony.
