There are different definitions for business drivers. Three of the most common
ones are:
The tasks, information, and people promoting and supporting the goals of
the enterprise.
The requirements describing what the business wants (e.g.,
more quality data, faster response to queries).
The burning platform: A problem in the business or its
environment that is important enough to spell the difference
between success and failure for an organization.
We usually search for statements that meet the third definition,
the important problems, as we should try to solve
them as part of the architecture outcome.
