PITA LIMJAROENRAT b
He was born in Bangkok, Pita began his career in the private sector at The Boston Consulting Group and Merrill Lynch working with fortune 500 companies. He then turned to the public sector to work at the office of Minister, Ministry of Commerce, and Government of ThailandIn 2006, after his father abrupt departure, Pita overtook CEO Agrifood Limited (CEO) as an agriculture start up (his father passed away 3 months into the project) The company was restructured operationally and financially. Pita forged ahead and turned CEO into the third largest crude rice bran producer in Thailand.
In 2010, Pita launched “ The Rice Bran Oil Company” as a rice bran value added consumer projects focusing on supplement (similar to flaxseed oil), skin care (similar to olive oil) and snacks (similar to wheat & oat bran) CEO Agrifood partnered with 6 universities across Asia for future innovation projects including rice bran protien extraction, Rice bran Bio Diesel and effective heart disease preventionsPita holds a degree in Master of Public Policy, Harvard University, Master of Business Administration, and Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
