An account can be registered to a business and payments can be made to a business name, provided we receive the necessary documentation as required by your country or state, that indicates you are a principal owner of the business. Such proof varies from jurisdiction to jurisdiction and may include any of the following:
Filing receipt
certificate of incorporation
certificate of organization
articles of incorporation
partnership certificate
To register as a business, go to our registration page http://submit.shutterstock.com and enter the principal owner's full name on the registration page.
When you get to the verification page, please put the following documents into one file and upload it in the ID verification field:
1. A Passport/ID Scan of Owner/Managing Partner of the company
2. Business documents indicating business registration. The principal owner of the company must be listed on those documents
3. A notarized/certified translation of these documents if they are not in English
Depending on the country you live in, you will later be required to complete a Form W-9 or a Form W-8 with a U.S. Employer ID Number (EIN). An EIN can be obtained by completing and filing Form SS-4.
