Based on fresh NR–PBR and RR a new elastomer product is
developed. The evaluation of curing characteristics of the NR–
PBR/RR vulcanizates indicates that optimum cure time decreases
with the increasing RR content. The improvement in mechanical
properties was observed for NR–PBR/RR vulcanizates because of
the enhanced interfacial interaction between RR and NR–PBR matrix.
The results measured by DMA and SEM studies further indicate
that NR–PBR/RR composites have lower internal friction
losses of molecular chain and better interface coherence and
homogeneity between the RR and matrix. Isothermal aging test
