To begin with, the world that we live in is a massive shelter for all living things including humans. As we know that the earth is divided into several continents which are Asia, Africa, North America, South America, Europe, Australia and Antarctica, and each continent consists of many different countries. Hence, it is obvious that there will also have a various cultures as well for example; the culture in Asia and Europe will be completely different. An instance illustrating this in action is the way people treat each other, in Asia older or senior people tend to have more privilege and need to be respected by the younger one. On the other hand, in the western cultures people will treat each other equally without considering about their age or background. Another example of the cultural difference is the unique way of greeting in each country for instance, Thai people has their unique culture of how to greeting to the others, it is called “Wai”, and it is also common as a way to express respect, gratitude, and apologies. In The United State of America, there are many different ways people greet one another on the street, in the home, or in business situations throughout America, but the most common one would be the warm handshake with a friendly eye contact in order to show that you are paying attention to the person that you are talking to.
