On arrival we were met by a friendly Thai woman at the desk. Unfortunately it went downhill from there. Our room was a small concrete room with no windows. No balcony either. You don't realise how important windows and fresh air are until they're gone. The room had a toilet a metre or so from the bed - there was a glass partition but it does not reach the floor or ceiling so all noises and smells escape in to the bedroom. The owner calls this "romantic", but I can assure you there is nothing romantic about sitting on a bed while your partner is on the toilet a metre away. (If you check the photos on here, you will see a photo of our room where the toilet seat is visible at the bottom right of the photo next to the bed)
