1-24
You get your Raging spirit gem at lvl 4 and also Ice Nova. These gems will carry you al lthe way to lvl 24 by using Ice Nova for AoE ouput and SRS for the single target. I would strongly suggest avoiding Beyond enemies as much as possible during these lvls.
24-31
At lvl 24 it is recommended to get the Searing Bond totem gem, this will now replace your Ice Nova that has been used for AoE Dmg, you keep your SRS for single target and if you have the possibility you add any dmg increasing support gem available at the time to increase their DPS.
31-50
Once you reach lvl 31 you will now have access to use Echo. This is the most crucial support gem for your SRS links. I would suggest getting a 4L item using SRS>Echo>Multistrike>Melee Splash. On top of this you remove your Searing Bond Totem and add Spell Totem linked with Summon Skeletons.
The playstyle is very simple;
Skeletons acts as target decoys whilst you are left to freely spam your SRS for DMG.
50-90
Thing should progress fairly easy from here and depending on what route you've decided to take with the tree nodes you would be able to find yourself in a position where you can take the "Ancestral Bond" node (4 points off-route to get Double Totems available). This will allow you to summon Spell Totem + Arc for procing EE as well as having 1 totem up to summon Skeletons. Personally I've felt this to be the safest and strongest way of lvling this build.
My recommendation is to ignore the 4 minion nodes you can take at the top of the tree (Death Attunement) and simply just take the neccesary nodes walking there but don't actually go in to them. And then later on in the game you can respec out of your Double Totem to take back those 4 missing minion nodes.
90-100
At this point you should have been able to get your hands on a +2 Fire gem staff (or better) to allow you to remove the Ancestral Bond (Double Totem) and stick with 1, the one with Arc of course.
Important Notes:
It is very important to know a few crucial details about the playstyle of a summoner. When available to you, you need to get Desecrate (summons corpses on the ground) as well as Flesh Offering. These 2 gems will allow you to summoner corpses on the ground to then consume the corpses with Flesh Offering to buff your minions movement as well as attack speed. This is a very crucial spell for your DPS output.
Mana cost shouldn't be a problem as you want to pick up the Clarity Aura early on and lvl it up when you need to. Don't over lvl it as you want to add Hatred auras as soon as possible without making your SRS deplete your mana when you spam the spell.
When you level up with this build i strongly suggest for you to take early cast speed nodes off-route to help with the DPS til you get your Echo in the build. Once you hit that stage Increased Cast speed reaches a point where it hits dmnishing returns pretty heavily and will simply not provide you with as much bonus as it did before the heavy cast speed increase Echo provides. I kept my extra cast speed nodes pretty late in to the game before i respecced out of them. This is solely a matter of taste. The cast speed nodes are the very last thing you'd want to focus on with the build due to the dmnishing returns factor.
Also, make sure to only take the Eldritch Battery node as well as the aura + HP nodes on the right side of the tree, only when you have decided to start using a Cloak of Defiance. It would be smart to do this decision around lvl 70-80 as you should have reached a somewhat high lvl of your reduced mana gem to provide you with a big chunk of extra mana to be taken away when you get hit.
At late game you want to use Generosity combined with Reduced Mana for your Hatred aura, and maintain Reduced Mana linked to Clarity as well as Haste normally.
If you plan on going Atziri with the build i recommend getting 3x Vaal Haste gems as well as 1x Vaal Summon Skeletons as these are crucial spells for a smooth Atziri run later on.
