Time/pressure dispensing system is using in the current toolsthen to control the process, the adhesive dispensing machine makes use of vision system to measure and provide feedback loop of adhesive dot diameter. The machine will routinely monitor adhesive dot diameter for every single dot. If the vision system detected that the adhesive dot size is deviated from the target then machine controller will react by automatically compensate the dispensing time or pressure accordingly until the adhesive dot diameter back to normal control limit. However, the machine will react only when out of control occurred. Consequently, in that moment the reject parts continue to fall out until the response became to effect. This system works very well if the adhesive viscosity is constant. However, in the real condition, the adhesive flow is not stable. Therefore, the passive control technique is inefficient under this circumstance because response delay. To automate the problem still not the solution. This becomes a drawback of current passive control method for adhesive dispense system.
