• First Nurse Sensitive Indicator audits for pressure ulcers, incidents of falls and use of restraints completed
in all 8 hospitals.
• Pediatric indicators (Peripheral IV infiltration and Pain A.I.R Cycle) introduced across all pediatric inpatient
areas.
• All facilities have completed applications for National Database of Nursing Quality Indicators (NDNQI), it is
anticipated that the first report will be available late Summer 2014.
• Linking with Infection Control to establish the collection of CAUTI, CLABSI & VAP across all applicable
units.
• Cataloging and review of additional nursing sensitive indicators underway with intent of standardizing
collection methodology across sites.
• Nursing sensitive indicator database established across all sites and working with the data warehouse to
assist with automation of reports.
