Table 5 shows that for the proposed algorithm for that specific signal, after interpolation the data points are close to the original ‘No artifact’ signal. On an average it can explain 97% of IBI data points of the ‘No artifact’ signal even after the interpolation.
On the other hand, for the
same signal the software is explaining a very small amount
of variations of the original signal. Thus, there is a risk that
interpolation might affect many good data points.
However, with a single signal measurement this could not
be confirmed.
