Use of ICTs by students The results obtained generally show that university freshmen have a good technical command for handling the different ICT equipment. They normally use a variety of digital applications, different softwares and diverse virtual scenarios. In as far as software and digital applications are concerned, they present different intensities and experiences insofar as the students’ academic and private lives are concerned (Figure 2).
