Am I a sad person.? No I'm not.
Do I get sad, of course I do. It's pointless to deny an emotion. Sadness is a natural emotion as a response to what we see or experience. It is needed otherwise how would we recognise happiness. I think for mental health all our conflicting emotions need to be in harmony and balance. So too much sadness can be destructive. Somehow it needs to be channelled or expressed in a non destructive way.
