The glass transition temperature of Kraft lignin and acetylated
Kraft lignin was determined by METTLER TOLEDO DSC 822 differential
scanning calorimetry. Samples about 5–10mg were tested
under nitrogen atmosphere at a heating rate of 20 ◦C/min. The samples
were first heated to 110 ◦C to eliminate interferences due to
moisture. Then, the samples were cooled to 25 ◦C and reheated to
200 ◦C at 20◦C/min.
