Introduction:
This Libyan standard specification was prepared and worked out by the sub-committee specialized in the field of fish and their products, as formed by a decision of the Secretary of People's Committee of the National Centre for Specifications and Metrology No. (6) of the year 2003 and was revised by the technical committee specialized in the field of processed and un-processed food which was re-formed under decision of the Secretary of People's Committee of the National Centre No. (5) of the year 1983 and hence it cancels, supersedes and replaces same.
The Specification was approved by the Higher Committee of the Centre under decision of the Secretary / General People's Committee of Planning and the head of the Centre under decision No. (2) of the year 2006.
