I’m not aware of any special fees the university imposes on visiting professors – other than the Employer Compliance Fee of $230/visitor needed for the work permit application, which we have already discussed.
If our colleagues wish to participate in courses as students, enrollment in courses would of course generate a tuition fee that would have to be paid. I think that the plan was to have them participate in any professional development that we are offering to our faculty and that they would be able to engage in some co-teaching with our faculty. There would be no fee associated with this.
There might be fees for the use of the Dalplex if they wanted to use the gym and exercize facilities. We can check into this once they arrive if that is of interest to them.
