N43 significantly inhibited damping-off disease in cucumber plants grown in greenhouse experiments. The incidence of damping-off disease in cucumber plants (Table 2) planted in the soil treated with N43 was significantly lower than in the CK2 treatment. A similar difference was observed between soil treated with OF and BIO. Furthermore, the control efficiency of the BIO treatment was significantly higher than that of the N treatment. However, no significant difference was found between the CK2 and OF treatments. Compared to sole applications of N43, these results indicated that application of BIO could significantly increase the ability to control damping-off disease.
