When you confirm shipment in your seller account that it has been shipped, the funds are immediately placed into your Payments account. For 14 days following the shipment confirmation, the funds will be present in the "Unavailable balance." After the 14-day period has passed, the funds are moved into your available balance and are disbursed on the following settlement date. Settlement dates are scheduled to occur every 14 days. So when any amount get over from hold period, system shows it as payable amount on settlement date. So, now you sold amount in unavailable hold period and it will be disbursed into your account on settlement date of account after completion of 14 days hold time.
As a security measure, Amazon may hold funds in your seller account to cover charge backs, refunds, A-to-z Guarantee claims, or reserves. This is called the unavailable balance.
You can access detailed information about an unavailable balance on your account by following these quick steps:
1. In the "Reports" section of Seller Central, select "Payments."
2. In the "Closing Balance" section of the "Payments" page, click on “View Reason” next to the “Unavailable balance” amount.
When a disbursement does not take place, the funds are replaced into your payments account and will remain there until they are able to successfully disburse.
To view your funds or initiate a disbursement, follow the steps below:
* Log in to your seller account (http://www.amazon.com/seller-account).
* On the Reports link, select Payments.
* If your account is eligible, you will see a "Request Transfer" button to initiate a transfer to your bank account. When you manually request a disbursement, your next automatic settlement date is reset to 14 days after your requested disbursement. Moving the automatic settlement date forward in this way will allow you to have more control over your disbursement schedule.
