When I first came here I served as an apprentice in the sewing and tailoring department. After that I transferred to the carpentry shop. I have learned the carpenter’s trade properly and if I am fortunate enough to be released I will take up carpentry for a living. I have never quarreled with anyone in the prison and have always behaved well. I have repented of my crime long ago, but since my sentence is so long I don’t know when I shall be released.
