Subject: AW: Quotation for Finevision Trifocal
Dear Dr. Captain
Thank you for your mail. I already answered some questions sent by ANP concerning the prices.
There is no problem for you to use the Micro FineVision instead of POD-F. It is correct, that we do not have a lot of results at present. But we started to use that Platform for different other products, also for the Toric products.
In November we will start the sales POD-FT means FineVision Toric. For this Toric IOL's we need to switch to POD Platform which offers a much higher rotation stability than the Micro Platform!
The price is the same for both Types. We also have no plan to stop with Micro FineVision at present.
The price Euro 260.00 was excluding injector (Euro 11.00) and a price for quantities above 250 pcs. per year. But I am convinced, that ANP can calculate with the lower price and informed them already.
I also told them that I am planning a trip to Asia and could visit Thailand as well. Around end of September beginning of October.
Best regards
Christoph

Betreff: Quotation for Finevision Trifocal
Dear Christoph
I've seen the price list for Finevision Trifocal already and have some questions.
1. The Trifocal model in price list is "POD F" which I found that it is not much information regarding this design (both Clinical reference and lack of reference in ULIB website). I would rather prefer Micro F because it had more clinical evident , user experience and optimised Haigis A-constant. This is very important because every surgeon need confident and enough reference especially in product with new design such as Trifocal IOLs.
I don't know if POD F is newer than Micro F (I don't know if you plan to discontinue Micro F design or not). Please clarify and send some clinical reference regarding POD F if possible.
2. The price for Trifocal is significant higher (291EU VS. 260-265EU for Micro F including Accuject injector) when compare with information I already received from you in APACRS Singapore. Please consider this issue.
Please take these considerations into account. I and AnP really want to see Trifocal runs well in Thailand. As you already know, Thailand is a very price-sensitive market.
Regards.
