Two important HR activities that guide effective recruitment are the strategic planning process and the job analysis. Planning establishes close linkages between longer-term strategic objective and recruitment activities. Job analysis enables the organization to convey information accurately (via job descriptions and job specification) to applicants so that both individuals and organizations are well-matched.
