Taylor and Jones (2004) also found adding 200 g/kgwhole wheat pre-pelleting increased relative gizzard weights of broiler. The results of this study showed the relative lengthsof jejunum, ileum and small intestine were shorter for diet WR than for diet GR, while the relative lengths of duodenum,jejunum, ileum, small intestine and caecum were shorter for diet WR than for diet GM. These results were consistent withthe data in previous reports (Rogel et al., 1987; Gonzalez-Alvarado et al., 2007).
