What is it?
The IPA concept was introduced globally a few months ago as a way to continue to reward individual and team performance as it is observed—and to do so separately from the annual review process.
Here in the U.S, we already had an existing model for overall employee recognition—Brighter Because of You (BBOY). We opted to use that program as a base, making some alterations within the system to allow for the IPA, which will provide cash rewards to employees who exhibit specific instances of “above average,” or “outstanding” performance that extends beyond their normal job duties.
