It was back in 2003 when a group of friends gathered at The Slug and Lettuce, Wardour Street, London to watch the Grand National. Someone mentioned an article they’d recently read – about the one billion people in the world without access to clean drinking water. Everyone agreed that something needed to be done, and as the daytime drinking led to late night thinking, the idea was born: To create a brand of bottled water with a difference – we would give all the profit away.
