3M Thailand Welcomed MBA Students from Austin, Texas
On Thursday 21st July, 2016 3M Thailand welcomed professors and 37 MBA students from The University of Texas at Austin, the USA, to its Customer Technical Centre in Bangkok. This international business trip was a part of their curriculum to allow those students to learn and familiarize with different cultures, customs and business procedures in Thailand. 3M was their top preferred company to visit in Thailand.
The half-day program started with welcoming speech from Mr Natdanai Manothai, Head of Human Resources, and followed by Corporate presentation given by Mr Thongchai Sariyacheewa, Talent Solutions Leader so that they understood 3M’s Vision, Values, history, principles and the way we conducted business. Then Dr Prakob Kitipichai, Head of Lean Six Sigma Operations, dived them down to more details of 3M’s technologies and product portfolios. Ms Sumalee Mahakirisri, Head of Technical Lab, also accompanied the visitors around product showcases with hands-on demonstration by Application Engineers and real trial. Finally the visit was ended by Q&A session.
After the programme, Mr Sariyacheewa sent the leading professor’s contacting details to Talent Acquisition team at St Paul for future reference.
