2.6.2. Histopathological studies
Two animal's kidneys from each group were used for histological studies. The isolated kidneys were fixed in 10% neutral buffer formalin and processed to paraffin wax. Sections (5 microns) were stained with haematoxylin and eosin and were examined under light microscope.16
2.7. Data and statistical analysis
The statistical data was presented as mean ± SEM. Parametric data which include all the biochemical parameters were analysed using a paired ‘t’ test for the paired data or one way analysis of variance (ANOVA) followed by a Dunnet multiple comparisons post test. A probability value of P < 0.05 was considered statistically significant.
