The calculated qmax (Table 2) was found to be 666.7 mg/g for Pb(II) and 384.6 mg/g for Cu(II).
Biosorption capacity results of the biosorbent for each metal ion show similar results with those calculated using Eq. (1), which were for 621.1 mg/g for Pb(II) and 330.2 mg/g for Cu(II).
These results show that this type of seashell powder biosorbent has high biosorbent capacities.
