—This article presents a theoretical-empirical study,
exploratory in nature, about the Leadership theme, based on a
mapping of curriculum of undergraduate courses in business
administration. The population researched were higher
education institutions of Association of Educational Foundations
– ACAFE, of the State of Santa Catarina, Brazil. The purpose of
the mapping was to find out which and how many institutions
cover the discipline of Leadership in the curriculum of courses.
The collection and analysis of data occurred based on documents
available on the websites and through a correspondence
answered by the institutions. The mapping of curriculum of 16
institutions led to following results: only one offers discipline with
the name of Leadership and nine offer the theme Leadership
within the syllabus of other disciplines. Most of the subjects are
in the area of Psychology.
