I am writing this letter to notify you that I will need to break my lease. I recently received a promotion at work, which requires me to transfer to my company’s Houston office.
It states in my lease that I am able to terminate my lease early, provided that I give notice 30 days in advance, pay the remaining month’s rent, and submit a fee of an additional month’s rent. This letter is dated and will act as my 30 days’ notice. In addition, I will be providing you with an additional month’s rent at the end of this month.
