A group of scientists in Korea have found that one to five cups of java a day is good for the arteries.
Their research focuses on the relation between coffee consumption and the presence of coronary artery calcium (CAC), which are basically calcium deposits in the arteries that indicate the future occurrence of coronary disease, and coffee consumption. CACs specifically indicate the condition of coronary atherosclerosis which causes the arteries to become clogged by fatty substances, heightening the risk of blood clots that are one cause of heart attack and stroke.
There is a growing body of research suggesting coffee is good for the heart
