Various methods to improve the ability of steel to overcome erosion and abrasion of the steel have been introduced. These are including methods of coating, plastic defonnation, mechanical alloying, surface treatment and cold rolling [4-6], The use of cold rolling method to improve the steel referring to the Hall-Petch relationship in which the hardness and strength will increase linearly with a decrease in grain size. Hence, the grain refinement could be expected to increase the yield strength and would result in the increase of wear resistance. This can be achieved by recrystallization of the steel after experience cold roll treatments. In tins paper, we reported results of microstructure observation of cold rolled SS304, along with their hardness values and wear resistances
