The results of the statistical analysis will be presented in this chapter, starting with
a description of the population in the sample. The ELS dataset is used as a comparison
sample, and key components of this comparison sample will also be presented. Each
variable used will be presented with a description and an analysis of the distribution.
This will be followed by the results of the statistical analysis including the comparison of
means that were run to determine if students with learning disabilities attend college at
different rates, correlations between each of the variables, and four regression models
testing which factors most impact college access and success for students with learning
disabilities.
