I had a mixed reaction to the film. Overall, I liked it. It was very entertaining. I thought it was better than the 2nd and 3rd film. This should have been the 2nd film. What I didn't like going into this film is that some cast members and some newspaper critics gave away too much. Even though, it is a little predictable, there is still a lot to like in the film. The opening sequence is amazing and has a great finale. The film is more Diesel's baby than Walker's (who seems more like Robin to Diesel's Batman for this dynamic duo). I did like how they tied in the 3rd film by having the character Han in the film. I did find a similarity to another Diesel film, A Man Apart (I thought he acted much better in that film though). In both films, Diesel's mission is similar and he is after a crime lord that no one really has seen. Either way, the film is very entertaining and Universal made a smart move moving this film from June to April.
