In Thailand, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) says it regularly checks samples of instant noodles — one of the world's most popular convenience foods — and so far has not found any lead levels exceeding permissible limits
Every year, tens of thousands of samples of food products including instant noodles are checked to ensure they are safe for human health, said FDA secretary-general Boonchai Somboonsuk.
