5. When your car breaks down and you no longer live a 10-minute walk away from campus.
6. If you have two classes that are hours apart, you're basically stranded on campus the whole time. You used to be able to walk back to your dorm and sleep, but now the commute eats up all your napping time. So you end up killing time on campus not napping. If you're desperate, you might find a deserted corner of the library to nap though. Only if you're desperate (aka every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday).
7. When you accidentally leave things behind in one of your classrooms. You used to be able to turn around and grab said thing, but now you have to get in your car (or beg to borrow your roommate's car) and drive back to campus hoping and praying that no one's moved said thing.
8. You have no clue why you thought not having a car wouldn't be a problem. The school's public transit service seemed so reliable ... before it was your only form of transportation to class. That's when you realized the bus never, ever comes on time. Ever.
9. Which means you end up waiting for a shuttle bus for, like, 75 percent of you college career. It's an especially depressing situation when it's raining. Which it usually is if your bus is running late.
