They are setting fire to a pile of dry wood in the forest or creating hay in agricultural areas. It is fast and easy. Burning more forest areas may cause the fire to spread to nearby areas. Burning causing smoke and dust that is harmful to the respiratory system, such as PM2.5 dust. Fire may spread to other areas. It cause a wide fire. And maybe spread to communities or spread wildlife habitats. There is danger to human and wildlife. When land is expensive. The poor people don’t have money to buy land for cultivation.
