Job summary:

The successful candidate will manage, coordinate and communicate all relevant technical subjects to Asian suppliers, mainly supplier in Taiwan. You will work in close co-operation with our Supply-Management, Quality Assurance and Assembly team. In addition you keep in contact with specialists from our HQ in Switzerland. Your main focus will be in the field of metal parts, e.g casting, stamping, press sintering and plating operation. You are the interface between our suppliers and our production, you coordinate and communicate all relevant technical subjects related to our buy parts and ensure that both parties have the same understanding to fulfill the specification and quality requirements. To achieve and maintain the requirements with a win-win situation. To provide technical expertise and guidance to maintain or improve Bernina's product quality. In this position you will report to the Head of the Technical Support Department.

Our requirements:

Age 35 years up
Bachelor or higher degree in Mechanical Engineering, or Science with well-known university
Min. 6 years in manufacturing based environment with Technical know-how and also min. 3 years in Procurement function , in a role of leading/supervising/coaching team
Experiences in Supplier Development or Supplier Interaction required
Ability to driving project involving defect root cause analysis and problem solving
Leading and working in cross-functional team on a regular basis to resolve issues
Proficient on Mechanical Dimensioning, Geometry Tolerance on technical drawings
Strong competency on Project management , Presentation skill
Good Social competences and customer service
Able to travel
Good communication skills , verbal and written in English, Thai
Computer literacy e.g. MS Windows, MS Office
