After the visit done, I still keep in touch with my collaborators via Skype to revise the manuscript from journal of medical microbiology. In addition, we are currently writing some manuscripts for publication. All outputs obtained from the visit will be used for publication. Some results from my work have been submitted to IDwekk conference organised by infectious diseases society of America in forthcoming October. My colleagues an collaborator are carrying out some experiments in Liverpool John Moores University to continue the work I have done the UK. I am part of that experiment as well. We are optimising the condition for new experiments and validate the assay on. We are developing the disc-containing ertapenem antibiotic with inhibitor based method to detect and differentiate different carbapenemase enzymes. We are planning to submit our manuscripts to Diagnostic Microbiology and Infectious Disease, Journal of clinical microbiology and Journal of antimicrobial chemotherapy. For the work I collaborate with Liverpool School of Tropical medicine, some parts are under investigating by a MSc student. I do hopefully we can write a paper as a consequence of this work and get accepted shortly.
