Good Night Yuva.
Meaw has adapted well into the culture here. She appears to me to have gathered the ability
to read and modify recipes to her liking. You have raised a fine and highly intelligent daughter.
News is pretty much slow out of Thailand over the weekend. The newly formed government is
taking things one at a time and is certainly going to follow their instincts. Anyone foolish enough
to think they can disobey the new rules being brought down are only fooling themselves. The
government found Sombat. From the article: "Sombat was arrested Thursday night in a house in
Chonburi province, about two hours east of Bangkok. He announced the capture on his Facebook
account, saying simply, "I've been arrested."". So the government knows how to track folks down
and it is only a matter of time before the actually find everyone they are looking for. Assuming of
course they are still in Thailand. I have no idea how the infrastructure is there in Thailand, but I am
sure if the government wants to find online protesters, they can and will. It does not take a rocket
scientist to determine the IP address of a device that has been used to update a Facebook account.
If I can do it, I am pretty sure the Thai Military has many people in their ranks that can also do it.
Not to mention what the Thai Police have said: "Thai police warned online critics of the military
junta Friday that they will "come get you" for posting political views that could incite divisiveness,
the latest reminder about surveillance of social media in post-coup Thailand."
Enough of the news updates. They are getting more and more aggressive on a daily basis.
Pleasant dreams and sleep well. Stay safe. I think of you always.
